Shining Light

Verse 1 Seed of darkness implanted Evil thoughts creeping in my head Nothing good has been done or said I feel as if my soul is dead Chorus When darkness comes, blinds your sight Keep your eyes on the Shining Light It will guide you along the way With new hope for today Verse 2 Darkness is spreading fast I don't know how long this will last Watching as my dark, sinful past Wraps me in this tight body cast Chorus Verse 3 Jesus Christ saves us all Lifts us up every time we fall When it seems like darkness won't stall He will hear your heart's faintest call Chorus Final Chorus Satan's darkness comes, tries to blind your sight But Jesus Christ is our Shining Light His death has given us eternal life Even though this earth won't survive
